B.O.N.® Nourishing Skin Oil Review

When I found out I was pregnant with my third child I knew that I needed to find a good moisturizer to keep my soon to be stretching skin well nourished. Well with all the chemicals in beauty products nowadays that proved to be no easy task. There are just so many harmful chemicals in products and these can be dangerous and there is no way I could use these being pregnant.

I was so excited when I found BON Natural oils. There products contain NO parabens, petroleum based products such as mineral oil, gluten, sodium lauryl or laureth sulfates. Also none of there products are tested on animals.




"BON^® Nourishing Skin Oil is a powerful blend of oils formulated to nourish, rejuvenate, restore and tone your skin. It is enriched with Vitamin E to provide your skin with intensive yet natural nourishment and moisture."

It contains avocado, rose-hip and grape seed oil and has been clinically proven to improve skin elasticity and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. All great when trying to help nourishes stretching skin and prevent stretch marks.

Since their products are oils and not creams the body can readily absorb them. It will re-balance and moisturize while improving the texture and ton of your skin.

So what is in B.O.N. that makes it so good for your skin? Here is some info taken from their website explaining each ingredient and how it helps. 

AVOCADO OIL

• High in sterolins (also known as plant steroids), which helps to reduce age spots and tone sun-damaged skin.
• Easily absorbed into the dermis (deep-tissue) and imparts a superior moisturizing effect leaving the skin incredibly soft and hydrated.
• High in Vitamin A and amino acids which are known for their cleansing and will protect your skin against harsh environmental factors.
• Toxins age your skin. The antioxidants in avocado oil remove toxins giving your skin a youthful glow and protecting it from premature aging.
• Helps relieve the dryness and itching of psoriasis and eczema harsh environmental factors.
• Excellent conditioner for hair and scalp. Nutrients such as vitamins A, B, D, E, protein, amino acids, iron, copper, magnesium and folic acid are excellent for hair nourishment and growth. The lecithin will form a protective layer over the hair follicles preventing loss of moisture due to climate damage

GRAPESEED OIL

• It is high in linoleic acid which is an essential fatty acid that promotes re-growth and helps tone and tighten the skin
• It contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties known to regulate and maintain healthy skin and assist in the prevention of acne or break-outs.
• Helps lighten age spots and dark circles around the eyes.
• Extremely “light” oil that will not clog pores but actually hasten healing and nourish skin.

ROSE HIP OIL

• High in trans-retinoic acid, which helps skin rejuvenation and quickens healing of scars and stretch marks.
• The linoleic acid helps reduce skin pigmentation of the skin and if used regularly, it has been known to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
• High in essential fatty acids which when absorbed converts to prostaglandins which assist in cellular membrane and tissue regeneration
• Helps prevent the formation of keloid scar tissue, which is the characteristic thickening of the skin in stretch mark
• Its high vitamin C content suggests that it may also be useful for treating dark spots, since vitamin C decreases the pigment-producing ability of the skin.

I have been using the nourishing oil now for two months and am so happy with the results. It comes in a convenient spray bottle that makes for very easy application.

                                     

The oil absorbs very fast and leave your skin so soft without feeling greasy. Its also has a very light pleasant scent thanks to the Rose hip oil. 

I have been using it on my chest, hips, stomach and thighs. All the ares most prone to stretchmarks. I am so happy with the results. During my last two pregnancies I wasn't so crunchy and was just using some drug store products. They all left my skin feeling sticky and irritated and didn't do a very good job as my stomach was itchy the whole time I was pregnant do to my skin stretching. Since I have been using B.O.N. my skin has been so soft and has had no problem stretching and also no itching. What a relief !!! And I can use it as often as needed without any quilt knowing that I'm putting pure natural products on me. 
I could not be happier and would recommend this product to anyone. I can not wait to try some other great products in their line of all natural products.
