WraPads Review

WraPads is an amazing cloth pad shop made by the lovely stay at home mom Sasha. These pads were designed and are hand made by her in the great continent Australia .

From the first glance you can tell these pads are very different from other AIO ( All in One ) style pads.
As you can see they are made to be folded before using. This allows the pad to unfold while washing and drying. This helps the pad to wash up very well as you can easily get between more of the layers. Also this drastically reduces drying time. The pads dry very quickly saving you energy ( if using a dryer), time and causes you to need less pads.

The pads are made from your choice of cotton, flannel, minky or cotton jersey in a variety of prints for the top. The cores are comprised of bamboo fleece and hemp fleece.  This makes for a very very absorbent core. The pads also have a hidden layer of pul making the pads waterproof. The cores and pul layer are all encased in cotton.

The first pad I received is a 25cm/9.8 in long,  flannel topped,  regular absorbency pad.

It has two layers of absorbent core and three cotton layers of casing. This pad is made to be folded over once.

This pad was so soft and absorbent. I am currently pregnant and am using liners and pads on a daily basis for daily discharge and light bladder leaks. This caught every bit of those oops moments like when sneezing and laughing.

You fold the pad over once and snap it around your panties with the flannel side facing up. So the bottom cotton layer faces down. This bottom cotton layer contains the hidden pul fabric inside it and ensures you will not have a leak.
This pad is also incredibly thin. Here it is compared to an iPhone to show its thickness.
Look at that ! You can barley even see it its so thin!!!

The second pad I received is a  30cm/11.8in,  Minky topped with printed cotton backed,  super absorbency .

This pad contains three layers of absorbent core and 5 layers of cotton casing. This pad is is so absorbent and is great for a heavy flow, overnight and postpartum use. I haven't got to fully test the absorbency of this pad but I can not wait to try it during my postpartum time. I will included a full absorbency report after that.

This pad is designed to fold over twice.

On this pad the black minky faces up and the apple print cotton back faces down as the pul layer is encased in it. Providing you with a very absorbent and waterproof pad.

Again I just can get over how trim this design makes the pads. Here is the super compared to an iPhone.

I have used and washed both pads twice. Both pads washed up very nice and I was surprised to see first hand how fast the pads really did dry . The first go around I dried them in the dryer and on low heat. They were completely dry after half of a drying cycle. The second time I hung them to dry. I live in a very humid climate and it takes my pads overnight and some of the next day to dry so about 12 - 16 hours. I hung these pads up and checked on them regularly to know just how long it took. They were both dry in just 6 hours!

The craftsmanship of the pads is simply wonderful. They are well made and are very durable. They cost between 8 and 16 AUD or approximately 7 - 14 USD depending on the size and absorbency. Shipping is around 5.50 USD for the first pad to the states and about 1.80 for each addition pad. The pads were packaged nicely and arrived in about a week which is very nice since they are traveling internationally. The customer service is fabulous, Sasha is just lovely and a pleasure to do business with .

Overall I couldn't be more pleased with the these pads! I hope to add more to my stash soon ( after I destash some other pads ) . If your curious about these pads, are looking for great absorbency in a trim pad, seeking a fast drying pad or simply looking to add more pads to your stash I highly recommend you trying out WraPads
